309 days…

Today turned out to be a lovely day.

Sunshine made things happy for a start.

K had been invited to go to the theatre with a girl she met in kindergarten and hasn’t seen much of since they moved to Perth.

She was quite nervous (it showed in her behaviour) but she soon warmed to her old friend and happily went in to the city to the performing arts centre.

Meanwhile I worried about how H would cope at not going anywhere….

… so we did a Mummy-H afternoon love bomb … a time where you shower children with love and let them set the agenda to enforce a feeling of security and of being loved.

As soon as we dropped K off, we came home and H decided on ice blocks and rice crackers for afternoon tea, followed by some dedicated Lego building of the tanker truck I gave him for Christmas.  Then it was time for the Hawaiian pizza he wanted for dinner with dessert as supplied by the I from next door who works for Dominoes Pizza.

Then, as luck would have it Doctor Who was on the tele, so we snuggled in to watch a rerun as he fell asleep on my lap.

He was super cuddly, and I have to say that he melted my heart just a little bit more….

We miss you each and every moment of each and every day.

Love you to the moon and back again.
